The story:

You investigate a secluded military lab and find something horribly wrong! All of the scientists are missing and the facility is ransacked. Years of research and top secret classified experiments are no where to be found.

The missing scientists, known as the Omicron Initiative, are responsible for developing new technologies. The only clue to their disappearance is a mysterious text message reading "we were forced to do it". The teams disappearance threatens the secrecy of its research, which could potentially put your country into a chaotic panic. Now theres only one person who can rescue the Omicron Initiative and protect its secret technology from falling into the wrong hands.

In 21 real time strategy missions youll race across the world to find out who, or what, is responsible for the teams disappearance. Youll command and conquer over 130 different types of RTS units ranging from infantry and ships to giant modern mega units.

After honing your skills in the campaign, fire up a random map and experience insane real time strategy battles! Choose your nation and test your mettle in online multiplayer or conquer some AI opponents offline. Many adjustable options ensure every game is unique. Want to play with only ground units? Make the victory condition the death of a specific unit? The options are limitless!

Hello, my name is James, Im an indie developer and programmed 100% of Machines at War 3 over the last two and a half years! It was quite the undertaking and I almost gave up several times, but through bad times and good, Im excited this real time strategy game is done! It reminds many real time strategy gamers of command and conquer, starfront, and similar RTS elements as modern war, and war of nations.

I just want to play a little strategy battle game. It is nice to be able to focus on the game and not on how much $$$ I need to spend to win! Well done!

Great game, loved the previous LASW game as well. Tons of new content too. Only reason I wont give it a 5 is the AI and unit formation is a bit clunky. By unit formation I mean your units will tend to just form one big column or just bunch together making them easy targets. Unit formation as seen in Supreme Commander would be absolutely amazing.

This is the only game I play on my IPad. Its kept my interest for months!

Best RTS game in the App Store by far! Could the developer add the option to choose more than one mutator at a time?

With diverse weapons and defences this game is both challenging and imaginative.

Whenever I use the saboteur, he gets targeted by enemy turrets even though he hasnt been detected by infantry. The description for the saboteur also states that he can only be detected by infantry. He also doesnt seem to attack anything even though I try to make him. Please fix and I will give 5 stars. It has been a long time since this has been updated, but pls fix saboteur bug Also. An idea for a unit would be a portable missile truck that launches tactical nukes or something... much smaller nukes than the missile platform though

Some bad moments

Been playing this game since land air sea warfare. Which was basically the exact same game (paid for both). Love the game but newest update version forces you to provide your email address. This was not required by any previous version of the game and honestly Im not sure I want your company to have any of the email addresses that I currently use. Should have the option to opt out, as I wont be using the multiplayer function anyway.

Will give 5 stars once the time crunch mission is made easier its way to hard to research dirty ordinance before 9:45

Crashes! Cant open in anymore. Reinstalled, Ipad restarted etc. still doesnt work. Want my money back!

This game is the best RTS on mobile and better than 90% of games that claim to be strategy games. I think this game is a hidden gem. I am very impressed that this game was programmed by one person. I would pay $10 for a sequel or updates. Its totally worth it.

Im a real time strategy fan and have struggled to find a game on iOS that could compare to the old blizzard games I use to play. -until this game. Like most rts games, it takes a bit of time to learn the tricks to speed up your build and tech upgrades but once you do, it makes the game even more fun. My only advice is: I bought the double pack, you really just want this one between the two.

this game is so much like land air and sea warfare with better graphics and more things to build. theres nothing better than this rts game in the App Store. since I know its still in development for updates and such Id like to point out a few problems I found so far. Im not going to stop playing, its just these are some annoying errors that needs fixing. on iPhone 5s: 1.my phone screen flips when I select a handful of troopers of any class. it also does this when I scroll through the map. 2. when I play against the AI, theres always one country thats the same color as me so it gets really confusing when you expand and spread out your army across the map. would be updates: I was thinking if its possible to make it so its easier to select classes of troops or vehicles through that handy information of how many troops you currently have instead of selecting land vehicle and having it select all the land based vehicle. this is why we have grouping right? overall I love the game. keep up the great work guys :)
